Updating Notice:
At present this site with the exception of the galleries, forum and store is done with HTML. I anticipate in the near future to go to a different style of site (PHP), that will allow certain individuals of our Post to add and subtract content from their respective areas right in the site without any knowledge of code. This will mean a total rebuild of the main site but I feel this is needed in order to get more people involved. It also will have the ability to ask for a username and password. Now I know some don't like it about signing in but this is not going to be put as an option to you. In the event you don't sign in, some parts may be inaccessible to you. While I am making this change over, the main site (Legionnaire, Auxiliary, S.A.L. and the ALR) will not be available to you.

As we start out a new year here at 261, I wish to welcome all the new members and say thank you to all for their support in past efforts of this organization.

There are a number of items on our plate this year. Read our newsletter and please visit this site to keep aware of all the latest happenings around here. I also wish to welcome the newest addition to the family at post #261...The American Legion Rider. There are many changes to come in our future and we will take our time to do them right!
